Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act outlines an employers obligations to individuals with disabilities.  This "floor" helps protect people with disabilities from, discrimination.  our team has strategies and tactics to creatively craft the essential functions of a job so that both the employee and the employer can reach their fullest potential.

Our lived-experience combined with years of expertise at the highest levels of disability employment policy will provide your organization with a competitive advantage for landing top talent.

Also, is your team aware that a recent government study indicated that approximately half of all Reasonable Accommodations come at no cost?

Working together to place the employer and employee in position for success is the essence of the Interactive Process.

We can provide insight into how to implement a process that works for your employees and entire organization.

Our approach is to have regular and robust dialogue that is based on goals that are mutually beneficial for both the employee and your organization.

Engaging conversations about Reasonable Accommodations can often lead to innovation for an entire process that could lead to innovation and  streamline operations for everyone.

Inclusive Design

Show me an organization with effective communication and I will show you a successful organization. Communication that is equally effective for all employees will mean higher productivity for your organization.  Unfortunately, lack of Communication Access is often overlooked, which can be problematic for both employees and employers.

Our team has its roots in Communication and recognizes the importance of multiple modes of communication.  Access to preferred modes of communication is essential to a workforce that values collaboration and inclusion.  Our colleagues who are deaf or hard of hearing may choose to communicate using American Sign Language (ASL) and our co-workers who are blind or low-vision may choose to communicate using screen reader technology.  We have the expertise to put your employees, and prospective employees, in positions for success by providing them effective communication tools.

Having accessible policies and procedures is important, but if your physical work space is inaccessible then often times people with disabilities may not even have the capacity to enter.

Inclusive design and universal design principles helps to removes barriers and promotes workplaces that provide access and opportunity.

Much like Reasonable Accomodations, our approach is to encourage Reasonable Modifications to existing structures or features that may not be accessible.  Did you know that there are tax incentives and programs in place to incent access and the removal of barriers?

Effective Communication

These are just some of our trainings. Our vast experience means that we can design a disability training on the topic of your choice.
